The Zen Center is offering a half-day Tai Chi intensive to help participants expand their knowledge and practice of this gentle martial arts form. Dr. Peter DeBlasio, Dr. Eric Berger's teacher, will be the guest teacher leading this class.
Tai chi is often described as ‘meditation in motion,’ but it might well be called ‘medication in motion.’ There is growing evidence that this mind-body practice, which originated in China as a martial art, has value in treating or preventing many health problems. And you can get started even if you aren't in top shape.

About the Intensive
Activities will include warm up exercises, review of previously learned Chi Kung postures as well as instruction in new postures, practices for learning to contact and develop chi, prolonged push hands instruction/practice, question and answer periods, and further instruction in the Long Form.
In addition, the teacher will demonstrate several other Tai Chi forms for the class, allowing participants to see what they can learn as they progress in this art.
